Vice President of the Bangor Art Society

I have been recently elected as the interim Vice President of the historic Bangor Art Society, The Bangor Art Society was founded in 1875 and offers artists in the Greater Bangor Area opportunities to develop their skills through workshops, lectures, juried art shows, and other organized events. The responsibilities of the Vice President include helping to organize these events, communicating with sponsors, and some public relations.

I have taught a six week course on acrylic painting techniques. In addition to acrylic-specific techniques the course covered concepts of composition and two-dimensional design, color theory, and perspective.

​I've been managing the frame shop at Hobby Lobby in Bangor, Maine since the store opened. The job entails a great amount of aesthetic design, applying practical considerations when designing framing solutions, hands-on experience completing custom framing orders, and a significant amount of customer service.
